With my Canon A! the playback settings have to be set to HDV, the default is Auto. You have to set this before you set the firewire.

Another tip is to look at your RGB settings in Illustrator or Photoshop, and look at you file in FCP under RGB rendering, because YUV will look different.

Pawel,
You can toss the Wav files and put the aiff files in the browser. Then tell FCP to re-connect and replace the originals with the aiff’s. There are buttons to check regarding the names of files to use, and since the new files have a different extension you have to check them.

In the crop pannel you should be able to make it any size you want.
Otherwise, this is really easy in Episode Pro.
