I’d use After Effects to track the camera. Alternatively you could use the motion tracking. A few tutorials here:

Glad to help. To answer your question I don’t know, never tried that but I imagine it would give you odd results/timing. I would suggest shooting 25fps and keeping it all 25fps.

Your source is progressive but you are outputting Interlaced. Change your output to progressive in the export settings. You could also up the maximum bitrate which will result in bigger filesize but better quality.

Just make a custom preset with 25fps and dnx flavour you need and save it/name it as a new preset, obviously choose I or P depending on source footage. Dnx works fine obviously limited to HD raster size of course.

Ok, I’m not sure why you need this extra step, I colour balance in the grading software. You could just export to dpx or pro res and use apple color or speedgrade.

Make a new 1280×720 sequence. Copy all your clips from your 960 sequence into your 1280 sequence. If the clips don’t fill the frame check scale to frame size.

You can’t put 29.97fps footage on a 25fps sequence without interpreting it to 25 as you will have this problem. It’s skipping frames to play at 25. In fcp you would have had to use cinema tools but in premiere you can right click source footage select interpret footage and choose 25fps. I’m confused as to why no one has noticed this before, what was your workflow previously?
