I was just instructed to wait until tomorrow when the 2015 update will be distributed. Was told that should rectify my issues. I certainly hope so.

CC updated over the weekend and my issues have returned. WHAT exactly is going on? Why can’t I have a stable system? The updating procedure needs a good looking at. I am, again, not getting work down. System freezes, crashes, all returned. :-/

Drag and drop not working. Literally cannot “grab” a video assets and place it in a bin. Once I hit Command-S once or twice it allows it. Then goes right back. Very strange behavior.

Are the graphics vector? Are you rasterizing them in the timeline? There are so many things that it could be. Without more info we are stabbing in the dark.

Yes. Read it. Nothing else open but Premiere Pro CC 2014. Did the terminal global app nap disabler, also. Thought updating to Yosemite would help this but after working well for a couple of hours its back to render “creep.” I have used the cleaner and all the other “tips” I have gotten here and in the adobe forums/blogs. Seems I am out of options. Very disappointing as I have been an Adobe fan since Illustrator ’88.

I use quicktime player. It lets you make recording of your screen very easily and the files cut into my post flow even easier. It is a mac-only solution though, I think.

I did a complete wipe and reinstall of my entire system and did NOT install the red giant product, still having intermittent linking issues.
