  • I use (with instant success) a D-Link AirPlus DWL-G650. Mac drivers are available online through orange ware micro.

With your orignal file open, create a new empty layer. Then go back to your original layer and select the objetcs you want to move. Having done that, go back to the layers pallete and you’ll see a small triangle. This signifies that something (the object you selected) is selected. Click and drag the layer (triangle) to the new layer you created earlier. Voila! It is now on that new layer. Verify it by hiding and showing the new layer. I have used this trick many times to seperate drawings I created without layers. In the future, use your layers as you draw. Age does teach you how to do things a bit more efficiently after all

Open your utility folder in your applications folder and launch application monitor. This will give you some info you may not be aware of. For the full story read this month’s MACADDICT magazine. It has a very useful article on cleaning up and streamlining your OSX system. I have been a mac user for almost 20 years and even I learned a lot. MacAddict. Read it and learn.

I do not work for them but have been a subscriber since day 1 and it has been a constant help along the way.

I have a “Rovercam” that is an xlr adapter that attaches to the camera and then the entire unit attaches to a tripod. I no longer use mine as my equipment is now xlr-native. It is in like-new condition and would be willing to part with it reasonably. E-mail me privately if interested. My address is in my profile.
