    is it flattened/rasterized though?

do you still have it in layers? That’s the only thing I can think
that would make it not work, based on your response.

  • Looks like you have some anamorphic sd footage.

right click the imported file, interpret footage.

set pixel ratio from 1.0 to 1.2

It will letterbox it in a 4×3 (720×486) sequence.

or export it with media encoder set that way or leave it as is the way
you already have it now but change the pixel ratio for 1.2 on the export screen.

I’d recommend exporting it as 853×486 with a pixel ratio of 1.0 if this is
for youtube or vimeo, they don’t usually interpret the pixels properly

    what about when it’s rendered?

what file format are you bringing it in as?

Is it a non flattened .psd per chance?

if so, try saving it out as a non interlace .png,
    see how that goes.

December 12, 2013 at 8:56 pm in reply to: Adobe Premiere Pro December Update (avail today!)

confirmed, Speedgrade outputs over my kona3!

    Thank you!!!

oddly it forces 1080i 60 output to my monitor even though it;s a 23.98
sequence, but that doesn’t really matter in my workflow and
I find the 48hz flicker on the broadcast monitor semi annoying.

    Just saw that, thanks!

didn’t even know that was coming.

Does the Speedgrade update fix the issue of external monitoring
    with AJA hardware?

are any of the photos cmyk instead of RGB?
are any of them larger than 5,000 pixels wide or high?

I’ve ran into that exact problem if either of the above are true.

looks like you would use something like a “track matte” setting.

The Radeon should have faster memory GDDR 5 vs the quadro GDDR 3

Try the Radeon with OpenCL enabled…should work well

December 5, 2013 at 6:57 pm in reply to: The Quicktime frame rate bug still a thing it seems

I just exported a prores file on a mac using premiere black for
the very end for a few seconds.

the sequence and exported file are both reading as 29.97

on a similar note, if I didn’t use premiere black and just
extend the work area to be black, then export or queue with media encoder
it refuses to have the extra black on the end now, which it never
    did before.

now I have to add black if I want it included at the end of an exported file….weird.

    running CC october update
