Vimeo doesn’t offer captioning but they are “working on it”.
For youtube, you would export
the caption file as a side car (external) file.When uploaded, you also upload the caption file.

I usually just match 1 to the other if possible without
adjusting color on one of them. -
you’re playing off the internal drive or an external non-raid drive right?
that’s the issue.

get the luminance/contrast as close as you can first.
then tweak the colors so that the overall images cut together
as smooth as possible, so that when editing and watching it, your brain doesn’t take you out
of it thinking: “what just changed there” -

It’s a shame they don’t somehow use the google voice to text android technology.
It’s very accurate, with no voice training of any kind.

you do it from the bins.
select the video clips and the external audio clips,
then in one of the menu drop downs at the top you
choose: make multi-cam sequence, then you can sync via audio. -
I finished this project. as it turns out, multi-page pop up menus
are the way to go when doing blu-rays.To answer your question, yes you can enable the sub-titles while
the movie plays.you select the sub-title button, then it’s properties, click specify link.
choose the sub-title button, then only switch the sub-title (lower right)
to the one you want.It will then enable the sub titles while the movie plays and should
remember it from then on.I had needed that as well for my project, but instead of sub-titles, it
was for switching to audio commentary.blue streak is still in business and quickly answer emails.

The one in premiere (at this point) doesn’t work well as Jeff said.
In the tutorials they suggest loading a transcript then
doing the transcription which kinda defeats the entire purpose.
