I’ve just been using the premiere cc multi-cam to sync via audio.
Even for non-multicam shoots it’s been great to sync up a timeline.

I have used pluraleyes in the past, but premiere just seems easier.

It’s worked well and been very accurate so far.

    heh awesome.

you might be able to get that rma/replaced with aja.

  • fyi I usually resize any graphics down to 4000 pixels maximum before importing them.

With 5000 size you can run into odd issues. 4000 is plenty.

check encore settings to see if anything is DV Widescreen or 16×9 vs 4×3 for
settings would be my first guess.

    Same here John (speedgrade)

I’m not going to beat up Adobe too much on this though.

Apparently they had a ton more testing to do. I’d rather have it
right than release untested…can you imagine THAT backlash?

Also there are some problems (closed captioning) with
the current version of CC when you have OS X Mavericks
installed so they probably had to test a bunch of stuff
    for that as well.

  • I’m looking for an answer to this as well.

Just did a fairly massive Blu-Ray disc with main, chapter, extras
and a setup menu for the audio tracks.

It works perfectly fine in the simulator in cs 6.

When I burn a test disc and play on a ps3 or other set top bd player
it always goes to some random button on my menu and not the button
I specified in the sub menu.

    very frustrating.

if it works in the simulator it should work on a burned disc.

[Lance Bachelder] “for some reason it runs so much better on Win 64 than OSX? I freeze up and crash hourly on a pretty fast Mac with GTX 680 and 32GB of Ram”

What version of OSX are you running?

I’m running mountain lion and CC runs VERY well (better than cs6 ever did) and
have rarely if ever had a freeze or crash in premiere.

Though I have had some freezes crashes in After Effects CC.
