October bump?
Posted by Chris Harlan on October 29, 2013 at 9:57 pmDid I get my dates wrong? Weren’t we supposed to be seeing some October CC releases? Did the break in slow things down some?

October 29, 2013 at 11:28 pmSorry for the delay. We just needed a bit more testing time for all the features we’ve got in this release. Should be very soon now. 🙂

“Cool. Just curious about what’s what. I may have a bit of downtime later in the week and it seemed like the right time to play.

October 30, 2013 at 12:48 amBy the way, I’m quite enjoying finding my way through PrCC. I’ve had a very pleasant time cutting with it.

October 30, 2013 at 2:48 amI’m loving it too though for some reason it runs so much better on Win 64 than OSX? I freeze up and crash hourly on a pretty fast Mac with GTX 680 and 32GB of Ram yet rarely on the PC?
Hoping the new rev fixes this weirdness…

“That’s a bummer. I’m doing okay on my Macbook Pro, though I do crash now and then. Reasonably rare, though (touch wood.) It could be a little snappier, and I get an intermittent audio crackle when I’m taxing the system with bussed audio, and am doing a lot of external monitoring. My guess is that more RAM and a faster system might cure my very slight woes, though the crackle could also be because of the USB audio device. Media Composer is a bit snappier on the same system, with the same externals. But, that just isn’t much to bitXh about. I love the audio set up. Its terrific to be able to bus several tracks of SFX down to one, and then further control it on the sub.

What I’m really looking forward to is the greater ability to alter timelines after they are created.
