Hi, we have rendered around 50+ wedding movies in the last ranging 1-3 hours long videos, but since yesterday, when Im rendering its failing.

    Not sure, whats wrong.

    Here is an example.
We finished our Premiere Pro Work and exported it to media encoder h264, mp4 file.

    Its 12GB file.
Media encoder showed me 12 hours rendering time, and it started.
It reached 92% after 9 hours and immediately stopped.

When I checked the folder, the final rendered file was missing and I saw this 3 files.

I guess, since the render did not finish successfully, those are unfinished files.

When I checked the logs, I could see this,

    - Source File: Sequence 01
    - Output File: C:\Users\Joomla\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\6.0\piyush\piyush_final_3dec.mp4
    - Preset Used: YouTube HD 1080p 23.976
    - Video: 1920x1080 (1.0), 23.976 fps, Progressive
    - Audio: AAC, 320 kbps, 48 kHz, Stereo
    - Bitrate: VBR, 2 pass, Target 8.00 Mbps, Max 8.00 Mbps
    - Encoding Time: 13:35:46
12/04/2013 06:02:21 AM : File Encoded with warning
    ------------------------------------------------------------
File importer detected an inconsistency in the file structure of piyush_final_3dec.mp4. Reading and writing this file's metadata (XMP) has been disabled.

    Adobe Media Encoder
Could not write XMP data in output file.

    ------------------------------------------------------------

So, what does that mean ?
How do I fix this ?

Please let me know asap, as I need to finish and deliver 2 videos before tomorrow evening.

Have you checked your drive your are outputting your h.264 file to? full, corrupted? I will switch to a different drive and see if it makes a difference…

    Good luck,

I was first rendering the export to my SSD. Then I tried to my HDD.
    Same result both the times.

It stops and fails after 92-95%

are any of the photos cmyk instead of RGB?
are any of them larger than 5,000 pixels wide or high?

I’ve ran into that exact problem if either of the above are true.
