If shake and kona3 are out as an option, try mpeg streamclip.
it does an amazing job at high-quality conversions.

ok, so its not just me.
It almost seems like the waveform cache doesn’t even work.
If it did, it would not have to redraw every time after
the first initial time.get it done apple!

Not sure why anyone uses -12 for tone when every tape I have come across from various vendors has tone at -20.
If you set fcp tone for -20 and set your betasp for zero (first red bar) thats how its done.

when I first learned of only being able to edit to tape in fcp, by actually
dragging the sequence to the window I thought it was goofy as hell.
But I’m used to it now. -

Is it absolutely only supported on intel mac hardware?
Thats unfortunate if true. All of us with PCI-e Quad G5’s are left out.
