If you don’t terminate at the last item. The video will be very bright and clipped.

This is for termination. If you don’t terminate the overall video is doubled in amplitude. Yet if you double terminate it is pretty much cut in half. These not necessarily exact measurements but close but I think you can get the point. If you add another monitor into the line such as a daisy chain, you want to leave it open then terminate at the last item in the path.
I hope that makes sense.

I just did a similar thing. Double click on the first video in the project window. this opens media properties. click on end action and link to second chapter, etc for each subsequent chapter. Then when yuou play the first one it will link directly to second etc.

I’m not sure why, but in my head the key to this problem lies in that line. I am trying to visualize in my head what you did, and I feel something is being left out in the explanation. Otherwise, I’m totally stumped.

The project I just finished, which I posted a question before reading how-to and then recended my question, had 7 different Chapters. I put 7 buttons on the menu, one for each chapter, but set each chapter to link into the next to create a full program run. If this makes any sense. I set each program to link to the next.

Sounds like shielding problem. Just for grins, put a sheet of foil between the TV monitor and the Computer monitor and see if it makes a difference.

Every format I get comes in boxes of 10 except VHS I get bulk VHS tapes 50 to a box. How about some of those boxes. Now I must admit I don’t use Mini DV, I use DVCPro, Beta, and VHS. Haven’t bought any 3/4 in a long time, but they came 10 to a box also. Now that I think of it, my Dat tapes, and Audio cassette also came 10 to a box. I think you need a supplier with bigger boxes. hahahaha

Now along these lines. It has always been a practice to empty trash every evening to the outside so none of these stagnant ocors will eminate from the room.
Never ever place food or drinks on any desk or counter that contains equipment. I have always kept a small table behind me to hold coffee cup and any food items, just lean back and take a drink or bite. The clients have always had a nice area in the back out of the way of my rocking desk chair. I have to rock when previewing, or anytime I don’t have my hands on the equipment. Their area has a nice monitor so they are not standing over my shoulder, a sofa, soft chair, tables, etc.
Now that I am in a corporate structure and not the main stream commercial suite, I have a room filled with all of our shooting equipment, all the editing equipment, everything in one small room. You wouldn’t believe the difference in the now and the then.
