Here’s the problem in short. I have a concert video, each performer has their own video and therefore timeline- a chapter for each song. Now at the end of the first and second video sets, it should have an end action to go the intro of the subsequent set.

Now this seems to work fine if you chose the last video of the set, and then press next on the remote. BUT if you chose the first video in the timeline, and keep hitting next, it will not go to the next timeline but instead goes to the first video of the current set.

Anyone know how I can solve this problem without having two put all of the sets into one huge video?

I just did a similar thing. Double click on the first video in the project window. this opens media properties. click on end action and link to second chapter, etc for each subsequent chapter. Then when yuou play the first one it will link directly to second etc.
Hope this is what you wanted.

Well my problem is not so much chapters within the first video, that is linked together correctly. Let give you an idea of how things are linked.

MENU 1 (Main MENU)- Links to Three Submenus

    MENU 2 (FOR VIDEO 1)
-ch 1 intro (end action ch 2)
-ch 2 song (end action ch 3)
-ch 3 song (end action ch 4)
-ch 4 song (end action- video 2- chapter 1)

    MENU 3 (FOR VIDEO 2)
-ch 1 intro (end action ch 2)
-ch 2 song (end action ch 3)

    etc…

The problem is the link between the last chapter in the first video, and the first chapter in the next video.

Read this entire thread and see if it is talking about a similar task:

Thanks for the help 🙂 I was able to use the empty buttons to my advantage, and get the playlist the way I wanted.
