Well the hair seems to be inside the cube’s geometry. I’m not sure how it would respond to that. Maybe if you have the right setup already, try to convert the hair to polygons?
Well if you’re getting your grass using the hair effect. A quick google search told me to turn on all the checkboxes inside the render tab of the hair effect. Could that be it?
Both first files of each sequence seem to be selected/highlighted Dave. What I see that differs is that the first sequence ain’t showing it’s extension.
But I dunno, never used that format here, nor I have my file extension’s hidden.
I think its because liquify is a compound effect and since it is applied to an adjustment layer it has no clue about it’s layer’s anchor point or any matters of positional data.
What you need is to add an expression in the distortion mesh offset and pickwip the tracked null’s position.
Check if they have the exaclty same number of frames. And zoom in AE to check if they are perfeclty alligned from the start. Also if you have the any of them inside another comp. Make sure both comps are at the same frame rate also.
Would it be viable to bring them in order and distribute them? I mean, If you know how many there are, position the first and last and distribute the rest. I’ve done a 200+ tile comp and it didn’t take me more than 20mins.
There’s a lot in there to say “that was done with masks”. But yes, it can all be done within AE. No other software required. Though in this case I’d say they did a lot of storyboarding before it was brought into AE.
from the look of that SS, i’m betting there’s nothing to do with h264 compression. something is up with the render settings that AME used while rendering. Perhaps AME used 3 samples instead of your 14.
Do as Ted said. Render out uncompressed from AE. then 2-pass encode.
