Merge tile textures
Hi guys I have a problem…. I need to join a lot of tile textures (2k size square) into one giant texture/layer. It is kind a like a giant satellite map..
any suggestions on how to do it in after effects? any automatsation ? thanks guys!!!!

I don’t know of anything within AE which will do it, but if it’s actually a satellite map, there are plenty of third party freestanding utilities which will join them based on their GPS coordinates. I guess the question is, are these actual satellite maps?

Would it be viable to bring them in order and distribute them? I mean, If you know how many there are, position the first and last and distribute the rest. I’ve done a 200+ tile comp and it didn’t take me more than 20mins.
