Are you talking about After effects? if so…I’m not following you, not only is my GTX 570 supported and working, nor is there a shader model option in my preferences ->previews.

  • why are you changing the world transform properties instead of just copy/paste your reference object’ position into the Group/particle’s position?

Anyway it should be working out just fine, what is you’re getting different?

You can use a motion path… so their speed will be the same as an animated null for example.

physics -> air -> motion path.

Usual workflow is to create a light, rename it Motion Path 1. link it to a null and turn it off (so it wont affect your 3d layers).

now animate that null as you would.

tip: set the emitter position to the same start position of your null…and you can get a good idea of its motion.

  • There are a bunch of things I’d had to know to give you hints on what to do…but without seeing what kind of transformations and parenting you have on your project I can’t say any. They are moving because you’re changing their size and thus their anchor points.

On the other hand…can’t you just rescale your composition within AE? (scripts->scale composition)
to solve in some extent that ram problem?

  • I meant the “bake” he is looking for is something manual… all he has to do is duplicate everything affecting some layer to that layer’s newly precomposed composition (including cameras)… everything should look the same in the parent comp.

On the other hand I’ve never used that plugin…and I’m assuming “default” effects are being used…not something that relies on multiple layer’s alpha channels. On that case…apply the effect on the composition itself and forget the adjustment layers.

  • did you precompose(moving all attributes) every layer affected by your adjustments… and duplicated the adjustments to inside each one?

I’m not following what’s the difference in size before and after what you’re trying.

Hi Pierre, do you think if you post a SS…I would be able to see this difference your seeing? I’ve used this fonts before and never once I saw any difference. I though both softwares would rasterize fonts in the same way…

I’m very curious about what you see breaking up.

optical flares does that sometimes when you enable flicker and it goes somehow below zero. Just tweak it’s settings and it should work
