    Agree —

I do find it odd that these new motion presets only come in one timebase flavor. Thought they’d at least make the backgrounds 30 – 60 seconds.

    Thanks though.

Thanks — I’ll give that a try. I don’t want it to loop the way it is… it isn’t seamless and would jump every 5 seconds.

I actually experimented with hitting the U key to see what was actually keyframed then changing the 0 x XXX cycles to see if that wouldn’t expand it the desired length. Couldn’t quite get the speed right, but no biggie.

I’ll try the looping flyout after it renders!! Ugh!

    Thanks.

We all watch it on an external monitor… hook it up thru your deck or video camera from the FW out of the CPU.

    Good luck,

Oh — remember… the pixel numbers are 720×480 for NTSC DV. If you are watching it FULL computer screen then you are at least almost double the size — bad for quality check.

    Hook up the monitor.

You can run it back out thru the deck or camera that you use to capture from.

Has something to do with View – Alpha… you want to make sure it’s RGB.

I’d go back to the sound house and ask why they need it in 29.97.

What is the final version of this project? Audio is audio and isn’t frame dependent. Which program are they using? I’m sure protools can handle 24fps.

A workaround MIGHT be to lay off the sequence back to tape. Make sure you have playback set to 3.2 pulldown cadence.

When it goes to tape it will be in 29.97 without any problems. Then, if you need to recapture it back into FCP to create a new sequence it will have the pulldown included and you can capture at 29.97. Then give that to the sound house.

    Good luck,

May 20, 2006 at 1:24 pm in reply to: Alpha missing when used from bin – bug

There used to be a little setting in LiveType… not sure if it’s still there or not… in the preferences there’s a radio check box for Render Background. If that’s checked it will NOT use the alpha channel and will render out a black background.

    Maybe that’s it?
