double click on the edit between the two clips to move your playhead marker there, then keyboard shortcut cmd-d

Yes, but any amount of slowing will make it lose sync with audio recorded on a different device.

It’s going to be daylight for all the shots i think, so 30p will be fine. and the extra frames will allow me to slow it down a bit in post if needed. -
basically that would speed up the audio/video using cinema tools right?
Have sync sound I think will be needed. Converting to prores, then right into final cut pro would mean final cut will drop one frame a second though right? Would it look bad? Then I wouldn’t have to worry about having the time go out of sync. or am I missing something? -
Audiojungle, Revostock and Shockwave-sound are what I use a lot. It might take a little searching, but there is some good stuff on there. I never really got to liking sonicfire. I bought it, and never really used it.
Although now, we’re are moving more towards custom made music. -
I know this post is old, but for other people…
-When saving your stap files, save them all in the same directory, and check collect media.
-After you media manage, bring those saved stap files to the drive you’re media managing to and then reconnect media in FCP
