PP CS6 and Kona Lhi?

AJA is still behind on their CS 6 plugin release.

only seeing 5.5 on their site as of this morning.

As much love as I have for AJA, I think they messed up on this. Of course there are probably a lot of reasons behind the delay and it’s easy for me to make the demands, but from a user experience, having them release their drivers when CS6 became available seemed like a no-brainer customer service goal…

I’m sure it will be soon, though.

I agree. I’m still a little peeved that LHe support for cs 6 will never happen
even though the card is 95% same as LHe Plus which IS getting CS 6 support.

I agree, no reason to abandon the Kona Lhe, I’d even pay $3 for a driver download. There has to be 100 people with the Lhe who would chip in $3 to pay for the half day of programming.

CS6 drivers are up on the AJA site – but not for the KONA 3, either, only 3G. lame!!!!

You might want to check that again – for Kona 3 and Lhi it says “Coming Soon” and if you click the download button it closes the window.

Just checked – for KONA 3G, yes, coming soon. For KONA 3, nothing listed for CS6.

The KONA 3 was never announced as an EOL product. But I feel your pain – we have 6 of the LHe cards in house. But with Avid v6 not supporting them either, we knew those were dead to us…

Any FCP 7 die-hards want a great deal on some LHe’s? 😉
