the main thing i want is quality. would it be adviseable to import in dvcpro hd. What is the optimum way to preserve quaility?

im sending the signal through firewire to a hdv sony tape deck then out to a tv, so why doesnt that work?

also, i can set up a project in sd, preview it through the m10u to a crt, then switch over to a hd project, and it’ll display one frame at a time. its a horrible way of doing it, but i gotta do what i gotta do.

why not? i can import hdv from a dv tape and i can export hdv to a tape, but i cant preview hdv on the tape deck? thats lame

oh awesome. thats much easier than i was thinking. i also have the full version of vegas 5, but that does support high def. thanks a bunch
