Personally I would just use DVCPROHD than go through all of that. Depending on the final use you probably would never know the difference. Especially if it’s broadcast.

  • Your audio settings were set to the correct rate? I assume 48K?

was this a fresh version of leopard or did you upgrade? I can’t get mine to even recognize that it is inserted. I have a fresh install of Leopard.

Time lapse is different than over/under crank. Is it not? The 2000 will do time lapse.

Flip4mac exports to XDCAM via ethernet or firewire. Ethernet is a heck of a lot faster than real time.

Well I am going to hope I had an outpoint in my timeline at the time of export and this isn’t some sort of freaky bug. All I know is I haven’t messed with it since I exported and there are no ins-outs on the timeline now.

New just formatted disc and no in-out points set. Does Flip4Mac look at in-out points? I export via ethernet.

I just had an issue exporting back to disc. apparently only the 1st 8 minutes exported of the 30 minute show. No errors, nothing showing why this happened. Anyone ever had this issue? I am right now re-rendering the show as a file and am going to try and put it to disc again tomorrow, but would love some sort of explanation of how this could possibly happen.

    Using flip4mac on FCP 6
