Initializing in the menu seems to have fixed it. I turned it on and off several times.

I’d just love to know what would cause somehow like that. Thanks for the reply.

I get that error on one card and I’d really like to know if there is a fix for it? Is there a way to block out that part of the card or fix it in any way? I’ve been avoiding using the card, but i’d love to see it fixed.

    Thanks,
    Bryan

I originally did the demo and then after a couple weeks I bought it and entered in the serial number. I never tried the bridge during the demo so don’t know if it worked before,

I have the same issue with mine. I can’t open bridge within after effects, but can open it from finder.

    I am on lion / cs 5.5

You would need to reboot anyway so not sure why you’d want to make it a button. That would stink to accidentally hit it.

Mac Pro is WAY overdue for a refresh anyway. Purchasing one now would be a mistake. I have an OLD quad core as well and while I’m sure I’d see a speed increase in render times, until FCP makes the jump to 64 bit, I just don’t think I’d get the return on investment I’m looking for.

  • Have to assume you are checkerboarding your audio. I wish I could have a quick key to add crossfade start, middle, and end… It would make life so much easier….

That’s the same as what I got the other day when I posted writing to just the hard drive on the laptop.

Considering that when I finally got my duel to work, it only worked 50% of the time and it crashed my computer the other half, I’ll take this guy any day of the week. Personally for me speed isn’t anywhere near as important as actually working. When I get the opportunity to mess with it next week, I’ll hopefully be able to try and see what speeds I get as well.

How did you measure the data throughput? Is that just with Disk Utility or something?
