    Checking P2 Card on a Mac for damage/unwanted files

    I understand that one should always write protect the P2 card before plugging into a Mac for a file transfer.

    However, if I do make the mistake of not write protecting the card and then plug it in to a Mac, is there an easy way to check the P2 card to see if there are files that have been put on it or damage that has been done to the card?

    The P2 card is very robust. They are almost 99.99% error proof. If there is a problem, P2CMS or your camera will show an error. It will be an X or ! on the thumbnail. Most errors can be corrected by repairing the clip. The most you will ever lose from a P2 card is 2 seconds.

    I get that error on one card and I’d really like to know if there is a fix for it? Is there a way to block out that part of the card or fix it in any way? I’ve been avoiding using the card, but i’d love to see it fixed.
