I made a clone of my system before I switched to Snow Leopard. So I just boot from the USB drive with the clone whenever I need to dump a P2 card. Sucks to have to do that, but it’s better than having to go back to 10.5

ND doesn’t seem like it would do much to me other than give you more latitude on the iris. My first thought and someone mentioned it already is shoot your shots twice at different iris settings and mask it in post.

Well I guess I installed every driver in that zip file than the one I needed. It finally works!!!! HOORAY!!! Down time will be a thing of the past….

If you are doing a fresh install seems like I’d wait for snow leopard.

So it’s working now? I’ve never been able to get my p2 cards to show up. What driver did you install? I thought I installed the driver and gave up because I still can’t get it to work. Maybe I installed the wrong driver.

I just did one in iPhoto. Exported it as an HD QuickTime and then brought it into fcp to freshen it up. Saves a ton of time and still looks great.

Wow. I didn’t see this either. SO what’s the advantage of buying the more expensive cards? I mean if they are going to work for 5 years, I’m not going to want a 64 gig card by then anyway.

That is my only gripe with the camera. I was really bummed when I saw that.

I also see 1.1.9 with cache emptied out. dunno…
