How did you fix it? I’m having the same problem.

  • I agree with you John. The project I had problems with had MTS source files. I’ve recently synced up another project that did not use MTS files just fine.

  • I just upgraded to Creative Cloud and after re-installing Pluraleyes I am having the same problem. It took almost 10 min for PE to import a 3 min test sequence using 2 cameras. Only 4 clips. Something is not right…

    Hi Bob,

I’m having a similar problem. I installed the CUDA driver v5 and the web driver. Premiere now sees the GTX680 as GPU and OpenCL. Is one of these better than the other? But, AfterEffects still only sees the card via OpenCL. Does this matter? Thanks for the help.

December 12, 2012 at 8:14 pm in reply to: Premiere Pro CS6 6.0.2 Mac render & export stops

Hmm While I have the red giant plugins installed. I’m not using any in this timeline.. I’m to far into this project to go back to FCP. Everything has worked great until I try to render previews or output. It’s not something that is repeatable ether. I’m stuck trying to render small work space sections and save after each successful part. It seems quite random as to where it’ll just stop and stay stuck at 1 frame. Very frustrating… BTW. I’ve had this problem in several projects. 🙁

Was there any resolution to this. I”m having the exact same problem. Randomly, the rending just stops. Then I hit cancel and get the spinning beach ball of death. I have to force quit the program then come back to find I have to start the render all over again. It’s taking me 4 hours to just render a SD timeline of 9 min.

    Hi guys,

What kind of RT performance could be expected with wrapped AVCI clips? What about rendering time?

    Thanks

When editing with these wrapped AVC-I clips, what kind of RT performance is there? Also curious what the render hit is if effects like 3 color are applied.

This sounds like the situation I was in with RED proxy files.

[Ben Holmes] “Why don’t you spend $295 dollars on a Blackmagic decklink card? I reallt can’t see how much cheaper it could be to rent one.”

    Thanks Ben,

Try $75 a day to rent a Kona 3. I only need it for 2 days. Half the cost of buying something I would only use for one job. It would make sense if I had other SDI devices. But I don’t.
