Premiere runs better on a PC. FCP X runs better on a Mac. We should compare FCP X on a Mac and Premiere on a PC to really see which is faster.

Lance, what are those feature films? I helped edit a Independent feature using FCP X coming out on OCT 20th. I would love to find out what films are done in FCP X.

What is your point?
Yes, FCP X was half baked when released, get over it. Is it solid now, yes and no. For the majority of users it works just fine. For those that need more, third party developers can fill that need.

I don’t understand that if you are still editing and are not done, how can someone mix audio while the edit is not finalized. Wouldn’t you have to wait for picture lock before mixing audio? I can see doing audio and color at the same time.

A lot of the features in PP seem to be half baked. Then it takes a while for them to get to full potential because they will focus on another new feature that is half baked again. That is why I like third party offerings that can focus on developing plugins that work.
