Hello,
Why don’t you try putting your original layer into a pre-comp that is the same size of your composition and adding the Page Turn effect to the pre-comp. That should work. Also, the pro-version will not change CC Page Turn, but you do need the Pro version to use the Bezier Warp feature. Finally, you’ll want to play with the “Radius” property to increase the size of the curl.
Andrew Kramer has a great tutorial on how do some cool stuff with this effect:

April 11, 2007 at 3:36 pm in reply to: Average Salaries for After Effects, HD DVD and Blu-ray authoringThank you all so much for your response. It has been extremely valuable. I’m going to start assembling a demo reel of all the materials that I’ve created and start huntin’.
By the way, how does intellectual property work exactly for demo reels. Technically, everything I’ve made is “owned” by the company, so am I allowed to these materials for my own purposes?

April 10, 2007 at 2:24 pm in reply to: Off Topic – Compensation for After Effects, HD DVD and Blu-ray authorYes, I did all the graphics for that title. I was GOING to do the authoring too, but we quickly found out that the standard authoring layer couldn’t handle what we wanted to do…so we had to get our Java guy to do the programing.

If you don’t already have Timewarp (It comes with AE7pro) then you can play with Time Remapping + Frame Blending

I just talked about this very problem over at the compression forum. You can find the solution covered in detail there.

I was placing around with the H.242/AVC encoder in the quicktime tab in both Premiere Pro’s Adobe Media Encoder AND After Effect’s Render Tab and both times the white balance of the video looked really washed out!
Check this link to see for yourself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYO5bvJ5slY
I didn’t notice any setting that would mess with the colours…so I’m wondering I’m just crazy or that there is something wrong with this video.
Thanks

Fantastic!
Thank you so much. I’ll give that a shot the next time I’m in the office. Btw, what’s the URL for that podcast? It sounds like a good resource
Cheers!

Simple! You can either apply the lens flare to an adjustment layer or a black solid with a blending mode of “add.” Then animate away.

February 26, 2007 at 6:56 am in reply to: Plugin for Sonic Scenarist? Or to export to xml file from photoshop CS?What exactly are you trying to do with Designer? Designer is a photoshop plug in that works with Scenarist HDMV (Blu-ray basic) to aid in the authoring of overlays (I forget the specific blu-ray term for this, but its basically the same thing). Scenarist Designer, like all the other products in the Scenarist 4 suite requires a USB security dongle. You should talk to your Sonic sales representative about acquiring it. Though, to the best of my knowledge, it should have come with Scenarist HDMV, so you might want to check the boxes that Scenarist came in
