Premiere Pro 2 Crashes when trying to make a New Project
Hi Guys,
This is a new one for me. I was going to start a new project today and Premiere Pro 2 decided it wanted to crash on me. I’ve tried hitting the “New Project” button from the menu that appears when you start the program and from an old project. When I hit the “New Project” button the program just locks up and I have to close it via System Processes. When I try to start a new project when already in an older one the program just closes.
I’ve restarted my computer and even reinstalled PP2 and still the problem persists. Nothing has changed on my system since yesterday…so I have no idea what could have changed this?

have you tried starting with the shift key down? Maybe the prefs file is wiggy…
