with dynamics you’d use a Connector object for the arrow (connected to the post (whatever) it’s attached to but you’d likely have to increase sub-sampling a lot (and add a spring) to get it to work. For xpresso probably changing the angle of the arrow based on the angle of the wheel (via a modulo) would be best but getting it to look natural would be tough

interesting. I changed hair to Flat to check the compositing tag then was testing the quality of reflected hair in the mirror and changed it back to “None” (normal hair) and now it still obeys the Compositing tag and reflects but isn’t seen by camera… don’t know if that’s reliable

if you render the hair as geometry (Hair/Generate tab) that can be hidden with a Compositing tag. You’d have to re-texture the hair… don’t know any other way as Hair is it’s own renderer… (but would be welcome to hear if it’s possible)

The PBlurp is doing all the work there, moving the source objects by mograph doesn’t really move them as far as the PBlurp can tell. You can just dump everything except the PBlurp and the sphere and pyramid and move the sphere and pyramid directly, that will work

for future info you just have to copy and paste the links from you Cow upload into the post. The gradient works nicely on a cube but it want’s to be a square I don’t think you could get it to map to the face of the A. Maybe if we had the file to test with but I can’t think of anything of the top of my head other than to do it as an image or possibly with Proximal

Don’t need luminance on the text, just reflectance to reflect the white of the plane (I tried out a disk as well as the ref image kind of looks like that)
