Short answer: No.

Much slower than the SSD in the Macbook. Depending on the speed from 3 to 10 times slower. If you’re looking at the Transcend JetDrives, they’re really for storing data that doesn’t require the fast read or write speed.

@ Dave. I’ve nosed around in AME and cannot locate an option for 16bit TIFF sequences. Where do you find it?

I agree, this has always been a mystery to me. The controls don’t behave consistently, I’m not sure what makes them appear or disappear.
@ Walter: Bart is referring to Shape Layers gradients, not the Ramp effect.
EDIT: I just experimented with parametric shapes vs bezier shapes, its the parametric ones that don’t show the gradient controls, the bezier ones do.

What exactly are you trying to achieve with this code?
It looks like time remapping but results in a 2 dimensional array – time remapping needs a single value, not 2.
What is 3A, it is never defined in the expression?
Could a switch statement better serve your requirements.

That is weird. I get the same result, but when I use the old method, pressing the Alt/Option key as I draw the shape it behaves as expected.

Are you referring to a Group Null generated and linked from within Element or one created from the After Effects Layer >New > Null Object?

That’s not entirely correct. CUDA on Nvidia cards can accelerate Ray Traced 3D in After Effects but the Ray Traced render engine can use the CPU.
The error message is likely due to the lack of RAM on the video card. 512 MB is not much these days when you can get 4 GB or more on many cards.
