What do you see when you click the transparency grid switch in the Comp panel?

Open them in After Effects, save them as .aep files (templates are .aet files) and import as above.

There are no equivalent motion templates for After Effects, and no drop zones. However After Effects does ship with some template compositions which can be used in Premiere.
In After Effects choose File > Browse Template Projects. In addition, you can choose Animation > Browse Presets to get a preview of the many animation presets that ship with AE.

That did it. I see that Invigorator generated a new folder containing the files. Thanks Matt.

Thanks Matt, but no joy. Tried Control and Command. Repaired permissions etc, still no joy.

If you have access to Compressor use it to transcode the clips in a batch.

Could be done manually or using expressions, or Trapcode EchoSpace.

Without knowing what you’re trying to achieve, I’m going to suggest using Blending Modes or Track Mattes to isolate the Fractal Noise effects to the layers you want.

Not sure exactly what you want to achieve but have you tried parenting the layers to a null and scaling the null?
