If I remember right, the LiveType interface is just labeled wrong.

  • Took me awhile to actually discover your navigation. I clicked all over the place.

The navigation circles have white lettering on top of them until you mouse over. I think your css needs some tweaking.

When I got to a video, it opened Windows Media with no errors, however the screen was blank and I could hear audio.

Your new id still reads as cow. How’s it supposed to read?

You need to use cleaner or some other dedicated compression app. Have you dropped the frame rate to 15 instead of 30. Also, drop the sound to mp3 at 22khz mono (but 16bit) and you’ll get good results. Make your image 320×240 if it’s 4:3. Cleaner will do a better job at compression than just quicktime from AE. But your file size seems ok. My demo online is 1:47 and is 7.7mb, sorensen 3.

That’s odd. It’s been my experience that .dv files never worked with FCP unless exported as a quicktime, since FCP is a quicktime app, not a DV stream app.

As he said, that is actually 2 of the 3 choices. Make sure you get the right one.

I’ll put out my suggestion, lunarpages.com. Nothing but wonderful support and fast servers with the latest tech. I’ve got A couple sites there and 3 or 4 clients there. No problems whatsoever.

As I understand, it’s doing exactly what you want. So why do you want to do something different? You want the guy transparent, right?

June 1, 2005 at 4:14 am in reply to: FCP export alpha? same problem …

I thought that in FCP you put it in the timeline on layer 2 or up, and turned off layer one to export with alpha intact.

Are you exporting a reference movie?

Full means that it has the capability to playback in RT at full quality. Checking to render stuff that is tagged as FULL means that it will render it, even though your system, card, etc. can play it back at full quality in RT.

Doesn’t mean it won’t skip a beat and drop a frame. I check every render box and if I hit option+r I want everything rendered. No guessing. I hate those silly check items almost as much as the problems that fill this forum because they default to being unchecked.
