You’re making a freeze frame from the timeline. Press f to bring up the clip in the viewer and then make the freeze frame from the viewer and edit into the timeline, leaving track 1 alone.

Isn’t it odd though? Project DV onto a 42″CRT and it’s perfectly acceptable.
You could make a poster as long as you stand 20 feet away. 🙂

When I click that I just get another web page. No preview windows or anything odd.

That sounds like as you clicked on all the links, they’d all turn bold. Sounds to me like he wants the class determined by the actual page in the iframe. You helped me do something similar where the menu items pick their class by the directory the file is in. But it wouldn’t work on an iframe I don’t think.

That doesn’t blur, it strobes. Probably like 15fps. The strobe effect is what you want. I usually set it to 4 or 5. Motion blur doesn’t effect video, unless youre moving it’s center or rotating it with the motion tab.

At least somebody didn’t tell him to trash his prefs… However, that would’ve worked since it would’ve reset the default to RGB.

Put the talent on the top layer and add a soft edge wipe?

It should look as it does now. Unless you have a cruddy earlier HDTV set. Your DV format is essentially the same (actually much higher rez) as what is coming over your TV now. And if you have digital cable you’re looking at an EXTREMELY highly compressed mpeg2 format for SD. People are watching that every day on their HD sets. There’s really not all that much to look at in HD just yet. The SD or DV should look just the same as ever, and the HDTV looks awesome.

Why not just burn the powerpoint onto the DVD as data. There’s even a data section on iDVD. It won’t be available in the DVD player (like on a TV), but it will be available to a computer just like a CD-Rom.
