Argh. Screw AE. There’s already ways to get it to AE. We need to get it to Motion.

Excellent I’m on the right path as I just figured that out (snap alignment to motion, correct?) EXCEPT, it turns my car 90degrees and it points the side of the car down the path. Perfectly sideways however. It seems to override the actual rotate controls. In AE, auto orient is similar to an “add” parameter. It orients it, but if you’ve adjusted the rotation yourself, it adds the info together.

I’m on the same machine and don’t notice much difference if any. Just as laggy as ever with complex timelines. But with simple timelines like yours, I had zero problems before. I’m utilizing templates from Motion quite a bit and it still sucks the RAM up as much as ever and starts getting laggy.

That setting only applies to playback. Rendered or otherwise. While paused you’ll see full quality.

For sound, a secondary can kind of serve as a track. For example I almost always make a secondary of my music so that I can blade it it and it stay in place.

Are you importing the layers? Are you working in CMYK instead of RGB? If you don’t need the layers, try using a PNG file.
