Newbie question
I have created some cgi animation and I am using final cut pro x and apple motion to composite and do some effects. I want to add some fairly complex particle effects. IE 2 fairies spell casting. Would it be possible to do all in motion. Or would it be faster to use another particle engine. I was thinking particle illusion as it was supposedly used in at least one show I know of to do this exact same thing.
(I am asking because I cannot seem to find any motion tutorials that explain how to do this but there are a plethora ofParticle illusion tuts. There are also a lot of presets in particle illusion, Although I noticed also a lot of really bad examples as well. Probably because of all the easy to use presets.)
Also I read somewhere that particle illusion has a more advanced particle engine. It does not appear to have been updated i a while so I was wondering if that is still true.
