I have no idea what they are, but your best bet is to get Audacity and import it as RAW.
You get options you need to set, fiddle around and perhaps you get lucky.
Since you have a lot of data, it it’s probably indeed your sound files.
(1.5 gig for 2 channels is a recording time of over two hours. Does that make sense?)hth,

If it’s just one long take, you can use the demo to find the start tc, write it down and enter it in FCP with ‘modify timecode’

Not sure how it’s over there, but over here the dB’s don’t count anymore (don’t clip of course…).
It’s all about perceived loudness. So if you’re at -23 LUFS,

If you don’t need to share bins, you can work with media on multiple machines in way cheaper setups.
I’ve got a DDP that allows drives to be mounted on different machines.
However, only one machine can actually write to them.
(not entirely true, the others can too, but the data they write get lost after disconnecting the drive. Not a problem for plain editing, bad idea if someone decides to put valuable NEW info on one of those drives…)Bouke

well, that’s no that much footage.
Just take the best takes (visually), have the actors dub the entire takes, sync and edit.

Nope, make an inbetween @ 720 x 576 in 23.976,
(Prores or whatever, as long as it is I frame only)
Take that to Cinematools and conform to 25
Then, speed up your sound while maintaining pitch (any decent audio editor can do this), then export the whole shebang to DV pal.
(Using an easy setup in FCP, but other options are plenty)Bouke

Well, i’ve got a Dynamic Drive Pool, and it works swell for me.
I don’t do project sharing, but being able to create / connect different drives to different machines, and making clones so multiple computers can access the same drive is handy every now and then.It connects over Iscsi, fast enough and the computer does not know it’s in fact a network drive.
Latest versions give you control over bandwith per user, so the discipline for the editors is not that hard.

The 422 is indeed bogus, but the rest is pretty normal DV…
And FCP has an easy setup for that…But before you’re there:
since you shot 23.98, speed up to 25.
since you shot HD, make a center cut or do a pan/scan…hth,
