thanks stephen i just found a converted that’s still compatible…VideoProc and am able to successfully convert to H264. Thanks again for the quick reply!

Thank you. Just tried all previous versions from Autosave and same problem. Is it hopeless or are there other possibilities?
Like in Pro Tools if I have a session issue, I can create a new session and then import all the data from the corrupt one. Anything like this?

Thanks Eric! Although I’ve quickly messed around with Proxy just to understand how it functions, I’ve not used it on a project. Do you have a recommended setting for using as proxies for ease and workflow?

So far I’ve been exporting to photoshop and drawing freehand using a wacom tablet on a separate blank layer.
I was hoping to continue a process similar but just have the frames progress. Is that how it would work with the stroke effect?

Do you think I need to reinstall? I bought it with Production premium package. What’s the process for safely uninstalling and reinstalling??

I don’t imagine processing or memory is the issue. It’s such a small task that the computer handles seamlessly until the end of the render. Seems like a glitch.
Here are my specs though:Macbook Pro 10.6.8
8GB Ram
AE CS5.5 (just says 10.5)
Stock card for the computer
I do not have Render Multiple frames enabled
2GB available for other apps. 6GB for AE.
Footage is in Pro Res 422 and I’m exporting the same. Also tried exporting Lossless and same thing -
Ok so it is actually making calculations to improve the image not just scaling? That’s awesome!
I just used that software as an example of what I had read about. Please if anyone knows what is being used now and yields the best results for getting the 720 up to 1080 for Pro Res footage shot on a 7D, I’d be very grateful!
