I was working in a sequence. All of a sudden I can’t get video into the sequence. All of a sudden any clips (even ones that are already in the sequence) that I drag in only show as audio. I can drag those same clips into other sequences no problem. I cleared cache and duplicated the sequence, neither worked.
What’s already in the sequence still plays. Any idea what’s going on/how to fix it?

March 1, 2021 at 6:02 pmIn your sequence panel on the far left side, there are toggles for patching video. If you hover your mouse over it, it says “Source patching for inserts and overwrites”. Make sure one of those video toggles are selected.
I had this issue when I was under a tight deadline a couple years ago, so you’re not alone in getting tripped up by that.
