My concern is the ammount of available trks, I could be wrong but it appears soundbooth is a two trk stereo APP, I just went to expense to setup a portable DAW for multi-trk suround recording which works fine with the Production Studio’s Audition 2, plus which has Rewire capability so I can interact with other sound APPs like Live and Cubase, If I have to purchase Audition separately and the current Ppro + addon software appears to take care of most of what I want, I would have to take a hard look at upgrading the Production Studio and just maybe upgrade Audition, when the old swiss army knife still works I see no percentage in upgrading to a newer one blade less model.

Good point, But is it OK to whine about Audition not being in the next version of the production studio?

What’s the source of the video/audio you are using? it helps to know what the format is.

I’ve used the effect with no problems, its fairly straight forward, what format are you rendering to? If other than straight DV there maybe problems.

The quality is razor-sharp.”If you are trying to view NTSC video on a computer monitor it will not look too good, Particularly fullscreen, you are dealing with a format best viewed on a external NTSC video monitor at the optimum viewing distance for the monitor size.

What kind of AVI file? a MSDV type 2 AVI would work best.

If its enabled it should work, are you stacking other effects on the clip?

There are two ways to do it, one change the default duration to 300 frames via Edit-> Preferences-> General or right click on each clip and change the duration to 10 sec, if you playback the timeline in realtime you don’t need to render just tape from the firewire output just make sure you Project-> Project Settings-> General-> Playback are set under realtime playback to your external device, same with export.
