OK cool….many thanks…but I really want to know if anybody has had problems with the “Samurai” itself… is it worth the money?

September 17, 2013 at 9:59 pm in reply to: EX1R Lengthy Horror Story with happy ending and a Big Question MarkI have my settings for my EX-3 on a SDHC, class 10 card(with adapter)…its a 4gb and that’s all I use it for…it will hold all my settings….It comes in real handy when I want match other EX-3’s, so I can have all cameras matching….it has never let me down. And it will free up a SXS card….

I have the Anton Bauer one….like the IDX, it shows the voltage of the battery….as I use AB Dic 90 batteries, when it shows around 14v or below, then I know that the battery is almost dead. Most batteries are 14v, but when mine are fully charged they are at about 16.9 volts to 17 volts…as it runs the camera for about 6 hours…..

Look at the following link for the Johny Depp movie….
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1152836/technical?ref_=tt_dt_spec
on that page you will see a EX-1 listed and was used to shoot the car scenes from the inside, as they could not get the bigger F23 camera inside the cars. There was a write up about this in Videography Magazine when the movie came out.
