I just bought the IDX A-E2EX3 Endura Power Adapter Plate from B&H and connected with an IDX Endura 50S 14.4V battery. In the EX3 LCD screen the DC input reads 16V. Works fine but I got scared and removed it. Called IDX but their message said they are closed (even though the same message says they are open until 5:00pm pacific and I called at 4:00pm eastern).
Is anybody using this adapter with EX3? If so what voltage does it show? Thank you.

I have the Anton Bauer one….like the IDX, it shows the voltage of the battery….as I use AB Dic 90 batteries, when it shows around 14v or below, then I know that the battery is almost dead. Most batteries are 14v, but when mine are fully charged they are at about 16.9 volts to 17 volts…as it runs the camera for about 6 hours…..

Thank you Bill Griffin. I also managed to talk to IDX and they assured me similar to what you said. Appreciate your response.
