Thanks for the response. The codec is not an issue, the big issue is that ALL the output choices are greyed out, nothing can be selected as an output. Not the desktop or using my Blackmagick card. This all worked juste fine, up until this morning. I am puzzled.

I went back to the original 6.0build as well, it is very responsive in both play and stop. Not really sure of what I’m missing in the new build if I stay on 6.0 but I’d rather have the responsiveness at this point. I will make a call to BMD to see if they an opinion.
    Thanks

I have updated my bm deck link card and am running 6.02 on a 12 core Cuda enabled macpro. I am still having lag issues with the stop function. A good quarter second lag, start is fast but stop lags badly. If I uncheck the BM playback in prebferences all is very snappy. I guess it’s a black magic issue.
    Thanks

I can confirm the same problem on my Mac Pro. 6.02 causes sluggish keyboard response on playback. I have switched back to 6.0 build, problem is gone.

  • I was just about to ask the same question. I assume you are seeing NR greyed in the multitrack editor, at least that is what I am seeing. NR (process) is available in the file editor.however. The only NR function in the multitrack is the adaptive noise reduction fx. I don’t have prior experience with Audition, so I don’t know if it used to be there or not. Audition might be a new app altogether. Anyway, it would be nice to have that function in the multitrack view, as well as ambient noise print, miss that.

I loaded everything on a spare drive, clean OS, everything is working fine. Spent the rest of the day rebuilding that drive but all is well for now. Thanks for your support

I was able to both get back to the CUDA version you recommend as well as the GPU driver you recommend. No luck. Not sure what else to try.
