I have a multicam sequence in Premiere that I want to grade in Resolve. However, my XML does not link the clips properly in Resolve. This was a long form interview that spanned multiple clips in the A cam from a C300. My assumption is that the XML does not reflect the fact that the A cam is made up of spanned MXF files that Premiere conveniently reads as 1 composite clip.
So, I decided to grade the unedited MXF media in Resolve, thinking I could link the graded media in my edited Premiere multi cam sequence. Can’t seem to do that either. Because the multi cam sequence contains spanned originals I am unable to link to anything but the first clip in the sequence. Is there a method to link back when the original contains spanned clips, that Premiere sees as 1 composite clip but now after my lovely grade are individual .mov files from Davinci? Or, what is a good method for dealing with spanned media that requires an XML export?
    thanks

Have you tried the flatten option with you right click on your multicam sequence -> Multicam -> Flatten

For me it does the trick

Yes, I have tried that. Does not work for me. I guess I’ll try it again
    Thanks
