What if I didn’t set an aspect ratio for my project? I just have some text so far and narration. Can I format the whole project to be 16:9 without messing much up?
Oh, by the way, it’s just for a school project. I just need it to cover the whole screen when it’s opened in Windows Media Player.
Edit: I just attempted to change the ratio of my project in Properties and it blurred all of my text. I don’t think this is it xD

Oh okay! I’ll try that 😀 Thank you!

How would you make the infinite loop filmstrip effect on Sony Vegas? I left a comment on the original video, but I’m afraid he might not answer due to the fact that he doesn’t have any responses to the comments left on his videos.

It imports as .mov files. I also downloaded the video I need (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJ0y7ayTYEE) as an .mp4 and it still lags. I have another video downloaded for another project and while it is .mp4, it doesn’t lag. What’s the cause of this?

[Graham Bernard] “So, you are wanting to add a Video+Audio Track ABOVE or in the MIDDLE of the sandwich? Yes?
Here is a simple Track Layout:
Track1 Video
Track2 AudioTrack3 V
Track4 ATrack5 V
Track6 AIf I right click on Track3 V and choose insert Track, I DO get a video track directly above it and NOT above Track1 V. This same is true for Audio. I Right click on Track4 A I do get a new Audio track above Track4 A.
However, this is for VP12. What are you running?”
I’m using VP 8, I believe. It was always the most comfortable for me.
And hey, this works! Thanks, Mr. Bernard!

[John Rofrano] “Hi Ben, The majority of your effects can be handled by learning how to use Track Motion with Parent tracks. I have tutorials about this on my web site:
3D Parent Motion <– will give you the basics of moving tracks in unison
Parent Motion Filmstrip <– will show you how to line the videos up
Feel free to ask me questions here about either of these techniques and I’d be happy to help you.

In the video, however, there are different pitch-shifting parts in the whole line. Can I select an already finished pitch-shifted line (there are usually multiple clips with different pitches) and cause them to duplicate side by side to make a line going across the screen?
And, how can I make the tiled effect? Is there any way I can do it without using plug-ins? I like to do things manually 😀
