Yeah, I tried it with a WAV… It didn’t help.

To loop basically means ‘to repeat’. When an animation is looping continuously, it’s going on forever.

One thing you might want to try if it keeps ‘running out of memory’ on the render… I’m not sure how this works on Macs, but on Windows: Edit>Preferences, but then before you click any of them on the flyout, hold down shift, click general, then let go of shift once the dialog is up. Then pull down the top left drop down menu, and down at the bottom will be a menu called ‘Secret’. On this menu there is an option: “Purge every ____ frames during Make Movie” (Or something like that). [If this process is different on Macs, someone please post to let Hal know.]
If you set a number in there, like, say, 60, then once it has rendered 60 frames, it will completely purge all of the RAM and start from scratch for the next frame (I think). This makes the render take much longer, but it usually will go all the way through without memory issues.
I hope that helps you out…

Nah, shatter’s lighting options were no help… neither was setting a light in the scene. I ended up just animating a levels adjustment, and it worked, but that’s really weird.
Thanks though,

Cool… That’s useful, but it doesn’t really do what I wanted. I wanted to end up with a path that’s sort of in the middle of the line. The font is sort of like a continuous line, and I wanted that line as a path. But this ended up working out better. Thanks!

I don’t know man. The only rap video I can think of that was done in AE is Go, by Common. and it’s not entirely AE, there’s real footage.

You’d have to be more specific about the rap video.

Thanks, that helped a lot. It’s definitely gonna take some tweaking, since my camera is flying down a corridor that has a big sharp turn in it, and it’s supposed to look at specific objects along the way, but that definitely helped.

Umm… I just figured out that if I go down to quarter res, the holes disappear. That would explain why it looks fine while interacting with Adaptive resolution. But I don’t want to render out video in quarter res… so anyone know what to do?
