a few months back I saw a rap video link where its completely done in AE. does anyone have that link. It was awesome

it was all done in ae. i saw it about 2 months ago. had a lot of growing elements, camera moves, i cant remember anything about it except it was awesome.

I don’t know man. The only rap video I can think of that was done in AE is Go, by Common. and it’s not entirely AE, there’s real footage.

Probably not completely done in AE. Can you imagine editing all those greenscreen shots in AE and synching them to the audio track? They likely did the editing in an NLE then sent the clips to AE for compositing and graphics.

ok..i’m pretty new at AE so i’ve been reading these post and doing the tutorial so i can try to make a video like this…but after reading and doing the tutorials, i’m still not sure where or how I would start! I think my big problem is that i am not sure what some of the effecs/technics are and how to do em. I recongize the growing effec and i’ve seen the tutorial, I see all the camera movement..although it seems pretty complicated. I know how to key the people out. everything else seem like its out of my reach..is this video a very complicated advance AE production that could only be done by someone with great expertise or is this something that I should be able to figure out? I wish that there was a tutorial that picks one of these videos and goes through each effects…
anway, just a little frustrated trying to figure out how to create some good stuff with AE 🙂
