  • Another strange issue. Before you described the solution, I created animation presets with the keyframe specification set to “in point” (not scaled). Even with that setting, I’m noticing small variances in keyframe animation when I paste the information..

  • Ah ha… thank you Herb. It looks like that was the issue ..

    Appreciate the help!

Thanks for the replies… Yeah, not sure what it was. My “stop lights” were turned on for visibility but didn’t see the object representation. All of a sudden the light started displaying properly again (not all of them, but the “key” light). So, still have no idea why things changed. I’ll update the post if I figure it out.
    Thanks

Thanks for the feedback. I actually went with GarageFarm. The plugin works fine, and the price was very reasonable.

April 16, 2020 at 6:28 pm in reply to: numerical adjustments of paths?

Thanks Walter, that’s a good idea. I just recently discovered that feature… it’s very useful..
My thoughts are more while working with Illustrator and After Effects. I know Illustrator will allow you to do this for scale and position for points and path shapes. I think I just need to emphasize a workflow where my AE and Illustrator projects synced up in composition/canvas size. That way I can create specific vector paths in Illustrator and copy over. Previously I wouldn’t have my Illustrator and AE projects the same canvas size, and I would need to adjust size in AE, (which gets difficult with multiple paths on multiple layers).
    Thanks again for the feedback….

  • That works perfect!
    You’re amazing Dan
    Thanks again

  • Thanks Dan!
source text is now linked and tracking too..
Font size is still not updating though…

    I tried changing to:
    newStyle = style.setFontSize(fontSize);
and it updates, but tracking doesn’t.

    Thanks for the feedback Dave…
No, not using dynamic link. I usually just : File > import > Premiere Pro project.
Again, having trouble with both programs independently.
Very strange, because both work okay for a while, then crash…
I’m reluctant, but might try re-rendering older cinefrom avi files into cineform mov. Re-cutting my reel, so not an easy task.
    Thanks again,

  • I’m trying to solve the same problem… Did you find a solution to this?
