AE crashes and Premiere low level exception error
I’m having issues with both After Effects and Premiere.
In Premiere, my project works fine for a while (maybe 15 – 20 min). Then I get a “low level exception error”.
I can save the project, but my cineform files are not readable. When I reopen the project, files are fine (for a while) then same thing happens.
If I import the Project into After Effects, I get the same problem, but cannot save.
I’m working with both new and older cineform files. I’m not a hundred percent certain, but think the problem is mostly with older cineform avi files, maybe a conflict with the codec?
Shouldn’t both Premiere and After Effects be able to read cineform files natively?
At some point I wasn’t able to play older cineform avi files, so installed a older version of the codec. Then I could read the files, but now I’m getting these crashes.
I’ve tried reinstalling several times and rolling back to earlier programs, turning off CUDA in project settings, clearing cache… etc…
Anyone have a similar problem?

Thanks for the feedback Dave…
No, not using dynamic link. I usually just : File > import > Premiere Pro project.
Again, having trouble with both programs independently.
Very strange, because both work okay for a while, then crash…
I’m reluctant, but might try re-rendering older cinefrom avi files into cineform mov. Re-cutting my reel, so not an easy task.
