Curious if anyone knows a technique for numerically adjusting paths?
I know I can double click and adjust paths proportionally, but it would be nice to adjust scale numerically, or adjust points based on entering pixel values.
    Thanks!

Try the “Create nulls from path” script that’s included with Ae:
    https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/using/animating-shape-paths-masks.html#CreateNullsfromPathspanel

This will give you a set of nulls that control each of the points on your path, so you easily access their position parameters, set up a parent to manipulate scale, apply expression, etc.

Thanks Walter, that’s a good idea. I just recently discovered that feature… it’s very useful..
My thoughts are more while working with Illustrator and After Effects. I know Illustrator will allow you to do this for scale and position for points and path shapes. I think I just need to emphasize a workflow where my AE and Illustrator projects synced up in composition/canvas size. That way I can create specific vector paths in Illustrator and copy over. Previously I wouldn’t have my Illustrator and AE projects the same canvas size, and I would need to adjust size in AE, (which gets difficult with multiple paths on multiple layers).
    Thanks again for the feedback….
