  • Hi Chris,

Try the Sony Color Curves FX on your video event or track. There is a preset called Night – then add blue if you want the shots to be moonlit. Magic Bullet’s Movie Looks HD (I’m not sure if it comes with Vegas Pro8, it did come with Vegas 6&7) also has great night for day presets, but they add a blue tint to the shots.

    Good luck.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I use Vegas 6.0d and DVD Architect 3.0c. All registered.

    Thanks,

Mmm, putting a Gaussian blur on the blue channel only before chroma blur and chroma keying makes quite an impressive difference.

Let’s see what else can be done.

  • Thanks a million Edward. I’m very pleased that I can make my own buttons, it’ll make life a lot simpler than it already is, thanks to Excalibur.

Another question is the following: I noticed a few times that after a hour of editing, the buttons dissapear. However, if I hover with my mouse over the toolbar, the small yellow pop-up ‘balloon’ appears and I can click on the ’empty’ button. So, the scripts still work, but I simply can’t see the original buttons. Any idea how to make them appear again?

    Thanks,

    Thanks everyone for your help.

I haven’t found the answer yet though.

We’ve got Vegas 6c running on 2 PC’s, and both PC’s have exactly the same problem: the image doesn’t appear on the TV’s connected to the 2 Canopus AD/VC100’s.

-The switch is set to digital input
-We don’t have Vegas 5 and 6 running simultaneously

In both cases Vegas 5 work fine, but not with Vegas 6.

In both cases they recognise the connected device…

Aaargh. Sometimes one misses analogue video (although only for 2 seconds).

Me neither. I am 100% PAL and just made 16 PIP’s, without any problem whatsoever.
