I played a bit with the Saturation, and that helped some, but does it need to stay completely within the 0-100 IRE levels on my waveform? For DVD, what is the best “safe zone” for chroma? (I know Luma needs to stay pretty tight to avoid the buzzing, and overblown highlights, etc. – but not as familiar with the Chroma levels)
and What tool/effect would best help in dealing with chroma levels? (As I stated previously, I used the Levels effect to help clean up the Luma values)

I just found this thread – very, very informative!
I was wondering, are there any other instances or tricks where Collapse Transformations comes in extremely handy?
I mean, I know there would be many, but just curious if there are some “special” instances where it saved you, or did something unexpected that would help out other noobs who wander across this post? I am trying to better understand this feature, so any little tidbit helps.
Thanks guys!

August 23, 2011 at 12:58 am in reply to: Need clarification on Twixtor (for AE CS5) frame rates source/output…?**Did you change the Input Frame Rate slider in Twixtor to 23.976?
Yes
I figured what I’m probably gonna have to do is just do the real time and 40% speed stuff using Time Remapping, and then when I get to the super slow mo, just split the layer and work with only that section in Twixtor…

August 22, 2011 at 8:50 pm in reply to: Need clarification on Twixtor (for AE CS5) frame rates source/output…?Thanks, Pierre, for the reply! I am in a bit of a jam, now, though… I created a 24P comp, dropped my Interpreted footage (Which is now 24P)
I wanted to do a cool ramp time effect (Like the movie ‘300’) BUT I noticed when I speed the footage up to realtime (250%) that there is significant warping of the footage going on, as if it’s still creating intermediate frames?! How can I fix this?
